Tis' the season of chokers, curls, and desert boots!

Ever since its birth less than two decades ago, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has become one of the most anticipated music festivals every year. And it's not just because of the many musicians and artists that go there but also the heavy influence in boho fashion. Thus, creating a sub-style of sort called "festival fashion".

This year's Coachella does not disappoint, too. Bringing to you my favorite festival looks worn by celebrities for Coachella 2016, check them out below!

1. Maxi Advice

If you are opting to wear maxi skirts or dresses in music festivals, take it from Jamie Chung and Kendall Jenner and wear one made of a completely completely lightweight fabric. Unless the music festival you will be attending to is somehow held in Alaska or somewhere cold this time of the year, then you want to wear something light. Sweat is never a good accessory and it's just not comfortable to saunter around in ultra thick clothes while underneath the sun and among crowds. Just...no.

2. The Black Factor

Now just because I said not to sweat yourself all over, does not mean you should opt out black as your outfit's color choice! Amidst a sea of jewel tones and festive colors, black may look chic and fashion-forward. So how do you wear black in a music festival like Coachella? The answer lies in the outfits of Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell who both wore black at one point during the Coachella. Ashley Benson's bralette and cutoff shorts ensemble layered with a black vest with fringed hem is the very definition of sleek yet boho.

And Shay Mitchell's flimsy romper dress with a plunging neckline paired up with a gorgeous statement choker and bejewelled bangles are simply gorgeous!

3. Sophistication

Classy-chella? Oh yes please! Let's all admit that not all of us could pull off the boho look so easily. Some are simply more inclined to sophisticated styling where a classy look is sprinkled with a pinch of festival vibes. Take Olivia Culpo and Margaux Brooke for example.

The former Miss USA donned a white lacy long sleeve top and skirt coords with gold detailing that creates the festival vibe and accessorized with a pair of thick gold cuffs.

Margaux Brooke, on the other hand, took the indie vibe deeper with chokers and round John Lennon glasses and paired it with a bold printed robe-like maxi.

4. Simplicity is Key

We don't have to go all out with our festival outfits all the time. There is no such rule. Sometimes, simple outfits can go a long way. And amidst a crowd of neons and layered jewelries, your simple look could definitely kick some butt! Channel Suki Waterhouse and Taylor Marie Hill's outfits this Coachella both of whom rocked out in simple yet fabulous outfits in varying range of simplicity.

5. Curls and Braids and...

...yes, feathers! Because, you know, why not? It is seriously hard to recreate curly hairstyles, especially when you have got those stick straight, stubborn hair. But Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev always, always get it right. ALWAYS. I've got mixed feelings with this because it annoys me how they can do it so easily and I also love love love it.

The fondly-dubbed Coachella Queen, Vanessa Hudgens, went simple in her standards for this year dressed in a crochet tank top and white overalls and layered necklaces. But she made it up with a gorgeous hairdo comprising curls, braids and feathers. Meanwhile, Nina kept it simple with a couple of braided locks but we still loved it.

6. Crowning Glory

Some stars kept it simple this year like Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner but, like Vanessa, they certainly made it up with their hair. Only with the color. I seriously don't know how to feel about Taylor's bleached blonde but it's definitely making her shine in the darkness! And Kylie's orange hair certainly got everybody's heads turning because that is just such a gorgeous shade of orange.
